The following instructions will help configure and schedule Ignite Monitor Blackout Periods. A monitor blackout period is a specific timeframe in which you DO NOT want Ignite to monitor a database instance. Use monitor blackout periods for scheduled downtime such as service maintenance and change management. Confio Technical Support is available via support@confio.com to assist you with configuring Ignite Monitor Blackout Periods.
1. Go to the "Options" section of Ignite. (Fig. A).
2. Under the "Monitored Database Administration" section select "Database Monitor Blackout Periods" (Fig. B).
3. In the "Select Database" drop-down menu, select the database instance you would like to configure (Fig C).
4. After you have selected a database instance pick the timeframe in which to have monitoring stopped.
5. Save & repeat steps for additional database instances.
