Unregistering a Monitored Database in Ignite 6.x - Confio Article 1516

To unregister databases choose File > Repository Setup from the main Ignite 6.x GUI.  Click on “Unregister Monitored Databases” and the wizrd will lead you through the process.

If the database is currently running, enter a privileged username and password into the third screen so the Ignite user can be removed.  If the database is no longer running, check the “Do not drop Ignite objects…” option on the third screen into the unregister process.  The following screenshot is Oracle-specific, but a similar screen will appear for SQL Server, Sybase and DB2.
